Curriculum:

The Foundation School (TFS) is a multi-dimensional organization with a number of parallel streams of education. The School offers Pre-School, Primary Education, Secondary Education with Metriculation System in Science Group or SSC (Matric) from Local board.

Our School has a uniform and aligned curriculum with core learning expectations to improve the performance of all students. Staff delivers the curriculum and implements research-based teaching and learning strategies. Academic co-ordinators approve curriculum, teaching methodologies and conduct workshops for teachers. Students are actively involved in their learning through inquiry, in-depth learning, and assessments. The assessment results are interpreted and applied appropriately to improve individual student performance and the instructional program.

We at The Foundation School employ various teaching techniques to bolster the learning experience of children. We aim to provide and use researched and recognized training methods and techniques to support learning. Our teaching strategies include:

Lectures providing direct information and material to students, stimulating them to think and discuss.

Collaborative education allows students to participate in the learning process by interacting with the rest of the classroom. Teachers assign group projects and presentation, which in turn improve student;s abilities to work in a team and learn leadership and presentational skills.

Multimedia Presentations are used to stimulate students and reinforce classroom learning by the use of multimedia technology.

Field learning encourages students to explore beyond the classroom and base their learning on real time experience.
